Trinity Central West
Word of Truth Assembly
Historical Perspective
The word of truth ministries began as a bible study in Pastor Olivet Mapson's home.  In June of 2000 the vision expanded.  With the leading of the Lord, Word of Truth Assembly settled in the Kresgie's Salvation Army Cnt., in Southfield, Michigan.
The congregation has grown from 4 to now approximately 40 members in a little over 3 years.  Though the Salvation Army Cnt. has helped to incubate the ministry and allowed it to grow, the Lord has blessed our Pastor and congregation to have a new building of our own.

We walk by Faith
Why Do We Exist!

·To celebrate God's Presence (worship)
·To demonstrate God's Love (ministry)
·To communicate God's Word (evangelism)
·To incorporate God's Family (fellowship)
·To Educate God's People (discipleship)

Word of Truth's Vision Statement

·The vision of Word of Truth Assembly is to go into the entire world and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  In our case the world starts with those in the immediate community.

·To show love and spread it abroad.

·To build one's self-worth and self-image.

·To build one's character and morals.
·Jesus said,…"go into all the world into the highways and hedges, and compel 'them' to come in, that my house may be full".
·Our strategy is to go into the adjacent neighborhood and into the community to minister to "them", the people.  We will do this through our Family/Marriage/Parenting Ministry, our sound Financial Principles Ministry, our Recreation Ministry, our Elderly Assisted Care Ministry, our Vacation Bible School Ministry, A Mentoring Ministry, etc.
·Though, word of mouth will be our greatest advertisement.  We will announce our arrival and invite others to come through, Christian publications, flyers, and ads.  We will also utilize Christian TV, The Internet and Radio broadcast.
·We will introduce ourselves to the business community and patronize their business.
·We will be an active member in the Neighborhood Watch Program.
·We have a Van Ministry to provide transportation to the prospective facility for those incapable of using private or public transportation.
